Our History
The Prayer Movement Army (PMA) was birthed in April 2019 after Apostle Vanessa Howard underwent a three-day fast. During this time, she experienced a divine encounter with the Lord, where she was taken out of her body and laid before Him. In that moment, the Lord spoke to her, saying
Vanessa, I have need of you to pioneer a movement of prayer, for My Church is sick and weak because of prayerlessness. I have called My House to be a House of Prayer. Make prayer relevant again and raise up an army of intercessors and prayer warriors, because My people are seeking Me for what’s in My hand, not for what’s in My heart.
About Us
The Prayer Movement Army (PMA) is a powerful, militant movement that God is raising up for such a time as this, to ignite the power of prayer, to execute His will for global revival. The Prayer Movement Army (PMA) was birthed in April 2019 after Apostle Vanessa Howard had an encounter with God during a three day fast. At that time, she was taken out of her body and laid before the Lord. In that sacred moment, the Lord spoke to her, saying: “Vanessa, I am asking you to pioneer a movement of prayer, for My Church is sick and weak because of prayerlessness. I have called my House to be a House of Prayer. Restore the altars in My Church because My people are seeking Me for what’s in My hand, not for what’s in My heart. I am calling you to raise up an army of intercessors and prayer warriors.

Our vision is to align the Church and unbelievers with the heart of the Father thre transformative power of prayer. The Prayer Movement Army (PMA) aims to influ impact leaders at all levels-cities, states, governments, regions, and nations-t unity, humility, faith, and honor. We are committed to preparing the world for t Awakening and the End-Time Revival.
Our Vision
Our mission is to teach, train, and equip spiritual leaders in effective, strateg prayer. As a militant movement, we are empowered to dismantle the kingd and advance the Kingdom of God through salvations, healings, deliverance restoration. We are called to be skillfully trained and equipped warriors, ac purposes of God on the earth.
What We Believe
- The Bible:
We believe that the Bible is divinely inspired and is the revealed will of God.
(2 Timothy 3:16) - The One True God:
We believe that there is one true God who has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent and in relationship and association as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, whose name is Jesus.
(Matthew 28:18-19) - The Work of Christ:
We believe that Jesus died for the remission of our sins and was raised from the dead with all power.
(Acts 2:38) - Biblical Marriage:
We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to be between one man and one woman, as outlined in Scripture. We stand firm on this biblical conviction and do not condone or facilitate same-sex marriages.
(Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6) - Salvation by Grace Through Faith:
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, and is the gift of God, not by works, so no one can boast.
(Ephesians 2:8-9) - Water Baptism:
We believe that all believers should be water baptized as required by the Scriptures.
(Acts 2:38) - The Baptism of the Holy Spirit:
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
(Acts 4:1-8) - Holiness and Sanctification:
We believe in living a life of holiness, both inwardly and outwardly, as a reflection of God’s character and as commanded in Scripture.
(Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15-16) - Tithes and Offerings:
We believe in the giving of tithes and offerings for the support of the church and the work of the ministry.
(Malachi 3:8-10) - The Power of Prayer:
We believe that prayer is essential to the life of every believer and the church, as it is the means by which we communicate with God, seek His will, and intercede for others.
(Philippians 4:6-7; James 5:16) - Divine Healing:
We believe in divine healing as provided through the atonement of Jesus Christ and available to all believers.
(Isaiah 53:5; James 5:14-15) - Spiritual Gifts:
We believe in the operation of spiritual gifts, including prophecy, healing, and tongues, as given by the Holy Spirit for the edification of the Church.
(1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Romans 12:6-8) - The Church:
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called to demonstrate God’s love, serve others, and spread the gospel to the world.
(1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Ephesians 4:11-16) - The Blessed Hope:
We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the return of Christ to rapture the Church.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) - The Millennial Reign of Christ:
We believe in the Millennial Reign of Christ upon the earth.
(2 Thessalonians 1:7; Revelation 19:11-16; 20:1-7; Romans 11:25-27) - Eternal Judgment:
We believe in the final judgment, where the righteous will receive eternal life and the unrighteous will face eternal separation from God.
(Revelation 20:11-15; Matthew 25:31-46) - The Great Commission:
We believe in the mandate to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Jesus and teaching them to obey God’s Word.
